August 2023 Get Carded By Say it in the Yard  Recently, I asked moms in a local group if they had any tips to share about back to school. The first day is creeping up on us and will be here before we know it! Instead of greeting it with “oh no back to school already,” let’s discuss some fun easy tips that you can do to get yourself back in the swing of things starting the week before school actually starts. It is important to get all of your shopping done early, last minute shopping can leave you with few options for the things you may want or need! Planning ahead will help to ensure you have all of the necessary items you want for the new year! By starting early you will save yourself the headache of shopping around at different stores, ordering online and hoping your items come in time or having to go without until your desired items are back in stock! This also shows your children time management, proper planning, and being responsible. Say it in the Yard starts preparing for back to school set ups early in the summer to ensure they will be perfect for the start of the school year in early August! You all certainly showed up and showed your school spirit! This years winning school is Treeline Elementary. I am looking forward to helping them celebrate so many occasions during the 23-24 school year! Oasis Elementary North was our second place winner and will also welcome their families back with a Back to School sign and photo op.
